About the Sierra Spirit Co Logo
The Sierra Spirit Co logo was created with meaning, tradition, and identity.
At the top is the Flicker Feather, representing the traditional Miwuk headdress — a symbol of heritage, pride, and connection to Yosemite’s ancestral homeland.
Within the design is Half Dome, with a bear silhouette inside it. The bear represents who we are — the Bear Clan — strength, protection, and leadership rooted in the land.
The overall outline of the logo is shaped like an acorn, one of the most important traditional foods of Native California. The acorn represents community, family, sharing, and the responsibility to take care of one another. "Like a long piece of string, we are all connected."
